Looking for Volunteers to Assist with Accessible Ballots

WVA, along with the SILC, FairShake Network and the DDC, is looking for volunteers to assist with an advocacy initiative to ensure every county provides accessible sample ballots for the November 8th General Election. Attached is a letter (DOC) that was mailed out to each County Clerk. Please speak with anyone you may know that may be interested in helping. Here’s what we need:

  • Contact your county clerk to make sure they include information on how to request an accessible sample ballot when they publish the sample ballot in the newspaper
  • Contact your county clerk after the sample ballot has been published to request an accessible ballot
  • Report back to WVA about what you did and what responses you got from your county clerk
We would like to have at least one advocate in EVERY COUNTY to help with this effort so share this e-mail with all your friends and contacts! Please contact WVA if you have any questions. Read More > Looking for Volunteers to Assist with Accessible Ballots
