The West Virginia Assistive Technology System (WVATS) will be working with Community Living Initiatives Corporation (CLIC), a local organization, to help the greater Morgantown area become dementia-friendly. CLIC received a grant from the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services to help make our community more positive and supportive for individuals living with dementia and their family caregivers. WVATS will support this by developing a special fact sheet on memory/reminders/communication/ADLs.
In order to develop our statement of work for the grant, WVATS needs your help. The first step is to find out how our community is doing now; the link below is to a survey that will get us started. This is a baseline assessment. I know it’s a busy time of year but we need to get as many survey responses as possible by November 30. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share it with others you think would be interested.
Here is the official dementia-capable assessment specifically for our community. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/68LCSY2Read More > WVATS and CLIC demential-capable assessment
